About
The focus of this blog is on the process of creativity, rather than the product. Art is a bringing out of what is inside. It makes tangible that which was intangible. When the artist tunes into the world of vision and imagination and makes a sincere effort to bring that out, the resulting artwork can be very unskilled or untrained and still have great energy and integrity. When too much emphasis is placed on the finished product and making it polished, the connection to the original imagining, vision, or idea can be weakened. I hope to encourage artists, and those who are too humble to call themselves artists, to
communicate their visions and to find ways of working that feel good and right.
I am inspired to begin sharing my creative process and plan to invite other artists to talk about their ways of working. It seems an interesting way to connect with other artists and art enthusiasts, to inspire each other and to make my creative work available to a wider audience. I hope you will also post your inspirations and ideas.
